Dough: To a mixing bowl, add yeast, sugar, milk powder, egg, oil and warm water.
Whisk well until lump free.
Add plain flour and knead to form a smooth dough.
Cover and allow to rise until double in size (30-45 minutes).
Roll the dough into 1/2 cm thick round sheet.
Topping: Mix mozzarella cheese, kalonji and salt together.
Put the kalonji and cheese mix along the edges of the round dough sheet and fold the ends inwards to create a stuffed crust. Please watch my video for full demonstration.
Cut the kiri cubes into 4 parts and spread on the center of the dough.
Top with mozzarella cheese.
Brush the crust with whisked egg and top with some kalonji.
Bake the fatayer in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-12 minutes using upper and lower both rods.
