Chicken Tikka Boti

Ingredients
Boneless chicken 500 grams
Yogurt 2 tablespoons
Cream 1 tablespoon
Oil 1/8 cup
Green chili paste 3 teaspoons (or more)
Ginger paste 1 tablespoon
Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice 3 tablespoons
Salt 1 teaspoon or to taste
Garam Masala Powder 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
Cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon
Orange food color 1/4 teaspoom
carom seeds (Ajwain) 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds (Zeera) 1 teaspoon
Fennel seeds (Saunf) 1 teaspoon
Instructions
Wash the chicken and remove fat if any.
Cut the chicken into 1-2 inch cubes.
In a bowl, add thick yogurt, lemon juice and oil.
Now add garlic paste and ginger paste.
Add fresh cream.
Add dry spices like salt, red chili powder, garam masala and orange food color.
Also add green chili paste to it.
Grind green cardamom, Cumin seeds, carom seeds and fennel seeds to a fine powder.
Add to the marinade.
Mix everything well.
Before adding chicken pieces just taste it and if needed, adjust salt and chili according to your taste.
Now add the chicken pieces and mix well.
Cover and refrigerate overnight. If you are short of time then 2 hours would also do.
After the chicken is marinated, take out from the refrigerator and thread the chicken in wooden or metal skewers.
Grill them on coals. Enjoy with naan and chutney.
NOTE: Chicken Tikka Boti can be made in a pan on stove. When done, smoke with a coal. Enjoy!
