Crunchy Onion Rings

Ingredients
Onion 1
big size
All-purpose flour 1/2 cup
Baking powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Egg 1
Milk 3/4 cup or more to adjust the consistency
Bread crumbs as needed
Oil for deep frying
Instructions
Heat the oil in wok on a medium flame.
Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl and mix.
Add bread crumbs to a separate bowl.
Cut the onion into 1 cm thick slices and separate the rings.
Add the onion rings into the flour and coat well. Take out the rings one by one and place in a plate.
Now add egg and milk to the remaining flour mixture and mix to form paste of milkshake consistency. If it is too thick you can add more milk.
Dip the rings and the batter, drip off the excess batter and add the ring to the bread crumbs.
Coat in bread crumbs and immediately add to the wok.
Fry on medium heat until golden (literally 1-2 minutes).
Take out and serve immediately.
Enjoy the crunchy onion rings with the sauce of your choice.
