Extra Crispy Hash brown Patties

Ingredients
Potatoes 2 big sized
Onion 1 small
very finely chopped
Egg white 1
All-purpose flour
maida 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
Oil 5-6 tbsp
for frying
Instructions
Wash, peel and grate the potatoes.
Wash in running water until the water runs clear. Then soak in cold water for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, squeeze out all the excess water using a muslin cloth.
NOTE: If any water remains in the potatoes then the hash browns will not be crunchy.
Transfer the grated potatoes to a bowl.
Add chopped onions, salt, black pepper powder, garlic powder and all-purpose flour to the potatoes and mix.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the potatoes and shape them using the back of the spoon.
Fry for at least 5-6 minutes on each side until all crunchy!
Take out on a paper towel.
Enjoy while hash browns are hot.
