Lal Chicken Tikka (Spicy Red Grilled Chicken Skewers)

Ingredients
Ingredients for tikka base
Chicken 500 g
Yogurt 3 tbsp
Brown onion 1 tbsp
Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Coconut flakes 1 tsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Ingredients for red colour
Kashmiri Chili powder/Paprika powder 2 tsp
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Red food color 4-5 drops
Instructions
Cut the chicken into 1.5-inch cubes. Keep in a separate bowl.
In a chopper, add all the ingredients of tikka base and ingredients for red color and chop as fine as possible.
Important Note: Do not add any water while chopping.
Add this marination to the chicken. Mix well, cover and allow to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
Next day, arrange the chicken pieces on skewers.
Apply oil on the griller and grill until cooked well.
Enjoy with roti and mint yogurt raita.
