Mix everything and apply on the chicken pieces. No need for marination.
In a pot add oil and place the chicken pieces.
Cover the pot and cook on a low flame for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken pieces are cooked properly.
Make sure to check the chicken frequently and add a splash of water when necessary because the masala, because of the gram flour, has a higher tendency to stick to the pot.
Add 3-4 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan and place the cooked chicken pieces. Turn the flame high, cook from both sides until browned.
