Potato Gratin

Ingredients
Potatoes 3 big
Salt 1 pinch
White Sauce
Butter 3 tsp
Garlic cloves 3
grated
All-purpose flour 3 tsp
Milk 1 cup
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cream 3 tbsp
Topping
Mozzarella cheese as needed
Instructions
Peel and thinly slice the potatoes. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and mix.
Preheat the oven at 180°C.
In a saucepan, melt the butter and add grated garlic. Sauté on low flame until aromatic.
Add the all-purpose flour and cook on low flame until fragrant. Do not let it brown.
Now add milk and whisk until there are no lumps.
Cook on low flame until the sauce has thickened.
Add salt and pepper at this stage, mix and add fresh cream.
Mix and turn off the flame.
Line an 8-inch baking pan with foil.
Start with a layer of potato slice. Top with a little white sauce.
Repeat until all the layers (2-3) are complete.
Top it off with mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 180°C for35 to 40 minutes or until the potatoes are done.
Enjoy with burgers, pizza or pasta.
