Winter Lentil Soup

Ingredients
Whole masoor dal 1/2 cup
Water 3 cups
Potato 1/2
chopped
Carrot 1
chopped
Chicken cube 1
Ginger paste1/2 tsp
Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder to taste
Instructions
Wash the masoor dal (no need to soak in water), add water and put on stove in a cooking pot on low flame. Add all the remaining ingredients and allow to cook on low.
Soup is ready when the lentil and the veggies and soft and soup is thick.
Serve hot.
